Visiting SLIS

We hope you'll visit us! To arrange an individual appointment with our student services coordinator, Andrea Poehling, email student-services@slis.wisc.edu or call 608 263 2909. In your initial message, indicate if you have a particular area of interest within SLIS (archives, school library media, academic libraries, public libraries, etc.) Also indicate if you would like to sit in on a class or participate in a SLIS special event, or if you would like contact information for current students. Your appointment with Andrea will last for 30 to 45 minutes, which includes a tour of SLIS.

The School of Library and Information Studies is located in room 4217 on the 4th floor of Helen C. White Hall, 600 N. Park Street.

Park in the City of Madison's State Street Campus Ramp at 415 N. Lake Street (north of University Avenue) and walk to Helen C. White Hall. Rates are listed online. Limited public parking (two-hour metered stalls) is available in the upper parking ramp beneath Helen C. White Hall.
